6 inches Hemostat image6" Hemostat
The 6 inch hemostat is the most widely used as it is perfect in size for nearly anything you do in making dolls. We recommend you have two or more hemostats in your sculpting kit.

Oven "Prop it up" blanket
The "Prop-it-up" blanket is made of silicon. It lays on the rack in the oven and allows you to prop-up your sculpture to protect it from burning. Prop is made of silicon glass so treat it carefully and then wash your hands. It will withstand temperatures up to 2,000 and will last for years. 12" X 16" blanket

Stainless Steel Scalpels
The stainless steel scalpels are the same knives that surgeons us. They have interchangeable blades. They are wonderful for sculpting teeth and for very intricate carving. Stainless handle and two blades included.

The hobby knives are real scalpels. They are very sharp so use them with caution. If you need something to cut in a small area, these are the best.

Doll Needles imageDoll Needles
Package of 2, 3 inch-long needles for making doll bodies. These are the needles used by professional doll makers in their doll making classes and studios. They are wonderful for making the doll bodies. There are only two needles in a set, therefore we recommend you purchase two sets just to have a few extra needles around. These needles are large enough that you may resharpen them with wet and dry fine sand paper, thus expanding their life. The three inch needles have large enough eyes to use upholstery or carpet thread.

Fabri-Tac glue may be the single best thing that ever happened to doll makers who have not developed good skills on a sewing machine. The glue is fast drying, drys clear and is even washable. It does not seem to yellow with age, nor lose it's strength. Soon you will be able to see it being used in Jack's newest "Costume Video". The new video will be available in September.

Long-nosed pliers with cutter imageLong-nosed pliers with cutter
8 inches long. These pliers are used for cutting off the body armatures to shorten the arms and the legs for assembly. They are very strong and make the task of cutting wire much easier.

Small pliers with a cutter for cutting wire. They also have a needle nose for holding small objects. They look just like the 8" plier shown above, except they are only 6" long. This are the ones I use in the classes.

The magnifying eye glasses are great for carrying in your sculpting case or in your purse. The glasses come in 2.5 or 3 times magnification power. These glasses are a great value for the money.
